Since 2017, Ascension Lutheran has been serving the neighborhood through the Little Library and the Little Food Pantry. We are grateful to everyone who has brought items to the pantry to help provide for others. We are now expanding the effort in collaboration with Hope Community Fridge by adding a refrigerator to increase the variety of available food options.
Anyone may drop off items to the Fridge or take something from it. The Fridge is available 24/7. Here are guidelines for donations.
Easy Volunteer Opportunity!You can also help support this effort by helping monitor the Fridge for cleanliness, proper temperatures, and current item availability. We would like to have a volunteer to check on the Fridge for each day during the week. To volunteer or for more information, please email AscensionLutheranChatt@gmail.com.
Celebrating the Opening of the Fridge
Grand Stocking Event on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 3 to 5 pm at Ascension Lutheran Church, 720 S. Germantown Rd. There will be free food, music, games, and more to celebrate this resource in the East Ridge community. Click on the picture to download the flyer.
